Gardening for bees

(with Adam Frost and Jez Rose)

As gardeners we know just how important the humble, hard-working bee is. A single bee alone visits up to 100 flowers everyday and can fly up to 3 miles to find pollen.

With this in mind we wanted to create a very special day celebrating anything and everything bees!

Bees for Business Founder, Jez Rose will join Adam for an exciting day at the Garden School. Jez founded Bees for Business in 2017 to help raise awareness of the plight of the honeybee in Britain. He will share his expert knowledge of bee keeping and honey production, plus much more. As well as giving an insight into how to keep bees.

Adam will share his top tips for how to plant and garden with pollinators in mind, from the best plants to grow, to providing pollen throughout the year. He will also talk about how to include wildlife-friendly elements in any garden, whether traditional or contemporary, a town courtyard or rural retreat.

The days promises to be fun, relaxed and a one-of-a-kind combination of bees, gardening and design.
